Ryan Faller

School: Peak Prep
District: Uplift Education

Ryan Faller joined Uplift Education in 2010. He is heading into his 3rd year as the Dean of Students at Peak Preparatory.

Ryan was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He attended the University of California at Davis and earned degrees in Managerial Economics and English. He moved to Houston, TX in 2004 and taught English/ESL at Lee High School.  After working with the coolest group of 9th and 10th graders you can imagine, Ryan left the great state of Texas to pursue his master’s degree in counseling at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio.  During this time, Ryan worked in high schools around the greater Pittsburgh area as a Drug and Alcohol counselor, leading psycho-educational classes and providing individual and family therapy.

In 2010, Ryan and his wife welcomed their first child into the world and shortly thereafter returned to Texas.  Ryan is on a “sabbatical” from hobbies as he attempts to juggle being a husband, dad, student, and school leader.  However, he does sneak away for an occasional run and has yet to surrender his love for the San Francisco 49’ers and Giants.
